Rue

Rue

Looking for Fantastic Foster or a Fabulous Forever Family! Rue is a 53lb Terrier mix who is around 10 year old.  Truthfully, she is a mess right now.  We have her up on the website so soon in hopes that someone will feel her pain and want to help her out by fostering her while we get her healthy.  It is not her fault that someone did not think it was necessary to care for her any longer and, most likely, just turn her out once they saw the tumors on her body getting larger.  She has a very large mammary tumor and a golf-ball- sized fatty tumor on her shoulder.  In addition to that, she currently has a horrific skin infection, which is very easy to take care of….  She is also heart worm positive.  All of this will just take time to remedy.  She likes other dogs, car rides, and attention.  Right now, Rue doesn’t like to be touched much due to the itchiness and pain from the extensive skin infection.  She just whines.  Unrelated, but we  think she may be deaf, also.  We are still learning Rue and are happy with what we are finding – how sweet and patient and hopeful she is.  We are also hopeful that there is someone out there who may be interested in fostering Rue.  Again, we cover all expenses if you foster her.  We hope you give Rue a chance.
