Adopt Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea – 13 years old, 5 lbs, Chihuahua. Sweet Pea is mostly blind, and she does hear some. She may take a bit to get used to new surroundings and people and is not really fond of dogs that like to get close since she cannot see or hear them very well. The longer Sweet Pea is with you, the more you get to see her tail wag, her ears perk up when you say her name, etc. Sweet Pea’s best home is probably one with no other pets and no children under 15 years, and a calm environment. Sweet Pea is house trained. We are working on Sweet Pea being more comfortable walking on leash, but she definitely prefers to be carried. She is fully vaccinated and recently got spayed and had a dental. Sweet Pea loves to be a lap dog. Sweet Pea is looking for a foster or forever family.
