Adopt Tex Mex

Crocket
TexMex was dumped on a ranch, with his brother, both were hairless from mange. The ranch was the location of a rescue that was having to move and needed to find home for the fosters that they had. TexMex was one of the last ones who needed a home, or foster home at the least. LAH heard about him and scooped him up, along with Lucy, another resident of the rescue. TexMex's hair is growing back nicely, and we are working on his confidence. He is a shy boy, but making strides every day. TexMex is becoming more comfortable with people, in and out of the house. He loves other dogs and doesn't seem to show any interest in cats. He likes to go for walks and car rides. He recently got groomed, and survived - although he wasn't sure he would make it or not.....

TexMex is a shepherd/hound mix. That is our best guess. He will not get much larger than he is now. He will fill out a bit. He won't get any larger than 45lbs.

TexMex needs a family who will be patient with him. For the most positive outcome, TexMex needs to come out of his shell on his own - without being rushed. He is a great little guy and will begin to go to meet and greets very soon.
