Good afternoon. My name is Dahlia. I am a 12 year old Terrier mix. Some call me a rock star, but I am just a girl who lived my life the best I could. I was told a long time ago that I had such a great personality.. thank you very much :o). Unfortunately, that equated to those people breeding me a whole bunch. When I started getting mammary tumors, they didn't bother to do anything about it, but when the multiple mammary tumors started getting larger, I got dumped and ended up at a shelter. Fortunately, Lizzy's found me and they took care of me and the tumors. I feel so much better because those tumors were heavy and uncomfortable. If I must say so myself, I am a fun girl. Not so much a party girl, but a girl who will follow you around, hang out with ya, go on errands and eat at dog friendly places with ya, etc. I love other dogs - I am obviously a mothering type of pup. I am a little bit interested in cats, but can also ignore them. I love my walks and they will be much more pleasant without the mammary tumors swaying from side to side when I walk... The next step is heartworm treatment, but that won't be until the middle of March. I would love love love to have a foster family to chill with so I can relax during the 6 weeks of R&R after heartworm treatment.
