Have you got TWO HOURS a MONTH to Spare and Share?
Sometimes it's a good idea to try something new, meet new people in different situations, right? Gets you up and out the door, away from the TV and the computer. It can change your perspective and oftentimes it can make you feel really good because you're doing something positive.
We are looking for help at our “Meet and Greets." We do them at a few places around Austin! Bring a friend with you, meet great people and play with all the wonderful pups. While there, we let folks know about fostering or adoption opportunities and what Lizzy's is all about. The reception is ALWAYS POSITIVE! Plus, it's Great Karma! They are typically scheduled for 11-1, on a Saturday, depending on the time of year. We take care of set up and break down. All you need to do is show up!

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Lizzy's Animal Hospice is always looking for volunteers. After all, a rescue organization is only as good as the volunteers, which is why they are so appreciated. Below is a list of things volunteers can do. If you have other ideas on how you can help, let us know! We love people who think outside of the box.
Research grants and/or write grants (first timers willing to give it a try encouraged!)
Have a fundraiser with friends and family
Reach out to those that can donate high quality dog food (wet and dry), blankets, gift cards, etc.
Help at meet and greets and other fun events
Help put together an event
