Two hours a month to spare and share is all you need to be a great help to Lizzy’s and our pups!

MEET LIZZY — the inspiration for Lizzy's Animal Hospice. She was only with us for two years, but that was longer than we thought she would live considering the condition she was found in. Lizzy was chained to a tree in Southwest Austin, and her hair was so heavily matted that every time she tried to stand up she would fall over - and she was frail. At around 13 years of age, Lizzy was given the life she deserved in the first place. She lived free of chains and matted hair, ate healthy food, and received pain maintenance to help with her arthritis. Most importantly, Lizzy was showered with love and companionship (both human and animal), probably for the first time.
