Ernie is a 10 year old, 20lb Terrier mix. He is a calm pup looking for a home without other dogs, would be his preference. Ernie walks great on leash and would do great at dog friendly events and restaurants. He is almost completely blind – may see shadows, and is diabetic. Ernie gets insulin injections twice daily in 12 hour intervals (any deviation from the times will be harmful to him). For the most part, Ernie eats great, and enjoys a variety of food. His routine is he needs to eat some food and then an hour later, he needs more food and then the insulin injection. He tolerates the injection fairly well.
